was first produced in 1982. It was the launch product for a company
(ICE) that is now well known for its insightful and profitable games.

The
very distinguished, indestructible dome that covers the playfield is what
makes a Chexx Hockey game so well recognized. The gameplay is fast, exciting,
and realistic as the players on either side control all 5 hockey players
and the goalie. The game can be played as a one on one game, or in many
cases, especially for tournaments, it is played two on two. There is an
automatic puck return system, overhead dome lighting, and if a game is
tied after the normal game play it will automatically go into sudden death
overtime - so there's always a winner!!!
Super Chexx was most
recently used by Anheuser Busch's "Bud Light", who is the official
sponsor of the NHL. The game was seen on commercials nationwide and was
used by Bud Light in a nationwide promotion where they ran a tournament
in all North American NHL cities, eventually flying the finalist to Dallas
Texas to compete in the "BUBBLE BOY TOURNAMENT STANLEY CUP FINALS!"
The promotion using the SUPER CHEXX game was considered by Bud Light to
be one of their most successful promotions ever. SUPER CHEXX can be found
in many entertainment centers, arcades, bars, restaurants, pubs, bowling
alley's, ice rinks, pool halls, and many homes worldwide. The Game has
been sold in over 52 different countries worldwide.
